By car from Schiphol Airport or Den Haag
From Schiphol Airport or Den Haag, take the A4/E19 motorway toward Amsterdam. At the Nieuwe Meer interchange (knooppunt), follow the A10/E35 toward Zaanstad. After 4 kilometres, take the S105 exit (afslag) Geuzenveld toward Amsterdam Centrum. At the traffic light, turn right onto Jan van Galenstraat. Follow this road and keep going in the same direction when the Jan van Galenstraat becomes the Tweede Hugo de Grootstraat. After going 3 kilometres in this direction, you will reach Nassaukade. At this point, turn right onto Nassaukade and then turn left at the first traffic light unto De Clerqstraat. Keep going in the same direction when De Clerqstraat becomes Rozengracht, when Rozengracht becomes Westermarkt and when Westermarkt becomes Raadhuisstraat. At the third canal (Herengracht) you will turn right. Follow Herengracht for 500 metres when you will come to a small bridge onto which you will turn left to cross the canal. Once across, turn left immediately. Now, the canal will be on your left as you go in the opposite direction. You will reach the Koan Float Center on your right in another 50 metres.
By car from Utrecht
From Utrecht, take the A2/E35 motorway toward Amsterdam. When you reach the Amstel interchange (knooppunt), follow the A2 toward Amsterdam Centrum. Continue on this road as its name becomes the Utrechtsebrug (Utrecht bridge). Once over the bridge, the road's name will change into Nieuwe Utrechtse Weg. Continue on Nieuwe Utrechtseweg until you reach President Kennedylaan (S110) where you will turn right. Follow President Kennedylaan and continue in this direction when the name of the road changes to Amsteldijk. When you reach Stadhouderskade, turn left onto it. Follow Stadhouderskade for about 0.9 kilometres and then turn right unto Weteringlaan (this is immediately after the Heineken brewery). At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Vijzelgracht, continuing on this road after its name changes to Vijzelstraat. When you reach the third canal (Herengracht), turn left onto it. Follow Herengracht and 300 metres after its intersection with Leidsestraat at Koningsplein, you will find the Koan Float Center on your right.
By car from Amersfoort
From Amersfoort, take the A1/E231 motorway toward Amsterdam. At the Watergraafsmeer knooppunt (interchange), take the A10/E35 toward Ringweg Oost. At the Amstel knooppunt (interchange) take the Amstel afslag (exit) S110 toward Amsterdam Centrum. Continue on this road as its name becomes the Utrechtsebrug (Utrecht bridge). Once over the bridge, the road's name will change into Nieuweutrechtse Weg. Continue on Nieuwe Utrechtse Weg until you reach President Kennedylaan (S110) where you will turn right. Follow President Kennedylaan and continue in this direction when the name of the road changes to Amsteldijk. When you reach Stadhouderskade, turn left onto it. Follow Stadhouderskade for about 0.9 kilometres and then turn right onto Weteringlaan (this is immediately after the Heineken brewery). At the roundabout, take the second exit and continue on Vijzelgracht, continuing on this road after its name changes to Vijzelstraat. When you reach the third canal (Herengracht), turn left onto it. Follow Herengracht and 300 metres after its intersection with Leidsestraat at Koningsplein, you will find the Koan Float Center on your right.
Arriving by means of public transport from Schiphol Airport
The easiest and fastest way (about 20 minutes) to get to the Koan Float Center is by taxi. The train is a good alternative. Trains towards Amsterdam Central Station depart from Schiphol Airport every 15 minutes. From the Amsterdam Central Station, a taxi is once again the easiest and fastest way to get from there to the Koan Float Center. Alternately, you can take tramlines 1, 2 or 5 to the Spui stop (the third stop from the Central Station). Then walk on in the same direction as the tram and turn right at the first corner. Then take the narrow little walkway between Café “Hoppe” and Café “Zwart”. Then cross over the Singel (a canal) and walk to the next canal (the Herengracht) where you will turn right. The Koan Float Center will be on your right in another 50 metres at Herengracht 321.
Arriving by means of public transport from Amsterdam Central Station
From the Amsterdam Central Station, a taxi is the easiest and fastest way to get from there to the Koan Float Center.
