The works of art in the Koan Float centre are all made in assignment by Kazuaki Tanahashi.
Kazuaki Tanahashi was born in Japan and lives and works since 1977 in the USA. His calligraphic works are regularly exhibited. Kazuaki Tanahashi teaches East Asian calligraphy in the USA and Europe. Besides this, he devotes himself already decennia to the environment and world peace.
At Koan Float you will see Zen circles (enso’s) as one-stroke-brushworks; like the piece “breathing in, breathing out”, displayed in the reception area
